Advocacy Day
Advocacy is the public support for, or recommendation of, a particular cause or policy. It is an opportunity to meet with policy makers on key substance use issues facing communities and speak on the importance of prevention. Each year coalitions and their youth advocates as well as community partners join for a day at the Capitol to speak up about the importance of prevention.
Advocacy Day is Scheduled for November 17-18, 2025!
Join us for Advocacy Day as we meet face-to-face with lawmakers to champion prevention, treatment, and recovery. Like past years, participants will be divided into teams, and all legislative appointments will be arranged by the Drug Free America Foundation team.
Registration is FREE, but required to secure your spot, plan group sizes, schedule appointments, and prepare materials.
Don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard, register NOW!

T-Shirt Design Contest
Every year, CCA teams up with the Drug Free America Foundation for the Advocacy Day T-Shirt Design Contest! This is a chance for all students across the state of Florida to show off their creativity by designing a t-shirt that represents prevention. To show unity across communities, everyone rocks RED at Advocacy Day—and the winning design gets featured on the official red shirts worn by youth and partners all across the event!
